It's Batman vs. Jack the Ripper in an Elseworld's adventure that imagines the Dark Knight over a hundred years ago in a turn-of-the-century Gotham.
Not really that good. Gave it a 3 because it was interesting time period thing.
Just wow. What a phenomenal job DC did on this one
No good redeeming qualities.
By Jimbo Fett
The story strays to far from the source material (which was great) what they added and changed was unnecessary and fan service. The animation was choppy in spots. The acting and casting was a whiffed.
You have got
to be kidding me.
By sad as hell
Boring to say the least
**Not Suitable For Children!**
This movie contains adult themes and denigrates women.
Kind of a Waste

Unsatisfying ending, major loose ends, and the kids are there just so the movie can preach at you.

absolutely loved it
Stick to the source
So many of the animated works go astray because they went astray from the source material. What made the graphic novel work was the mystery within the mystery. This movie discards that by throwing in a twist ending that falls flat. Fun to watch and glad they tried but there was so much that was good that they chose to ignore.
Not a good Batman.
Many of the women were disrespected. One has to wonder if it is trying to be accurate of that era or if Hollywood perceptions were to play. Animation is good. Characters were somewhat interesting. A so-so animated film.
