This film is of the highest quality. Destined to be one of my all time favorites. My advise is to purchase it instead of just renting it. You’ll want to watch this one again.
  • No Idyllic Italian Summers Here ...

The gritty reality of a backbreaking agricultural existence is the backdrop for this budding love story set in a stunningly beautiful but desolate and lonely landscape. By far the best gay romance I have viewed in the past decade: A U.K. version of Brokeback Mountain exemplifying the simplistic but actual day to day labor intensive farm life BBM failed to portray. No haughty academic idyllic Italian summers here: This is a 5 Star film which did not receive the nationwide release exposure it so desperately deserved.

Strong acting, great visuals, no words or scenes are put in unless needed. Realistic and no fluff.

Beautifully made. Sceneries, actors, story line and acting are superb. The happy ending was nicely done and not forced. The movie should be awarded one or more Academy Award trophy. It is definitely better than “Call Me by Your Name” especially the ending.
  • One of my favorite movies ever.

It’s as simple as that. This may be one of the best romances, or dramas, or gay movies I’ve seen. But above all of that it is simply one of the best movies I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching. It does not come together easy or quick but once it does, as clichéd as it is, it’s a rollercoaster ride. The relationships are one of a kind and so human. The romance and sensuality is raw. Spoiler alert: happy endings do exist even if they aren’t perfect. I love this movie and will watch it again and again. With such a narrow market of queer movies, it sets a grand precedent for what’s to come in the future of this growing industry.
