A shy young student leaves her small town and religious family to study at a university in Oslo, but once on campus she experiences what appears to be a violent, unexpected seizure. Overwhelmed by the increasing intensity of the mystifying episodes and her powerful feelings for a beautiful classmate, Thelma struggles to control her supernatural abilities.

I love the story, the music and every detail of this movie. The filmmaker and the cast & crew are brilliant. What the movie described was a very typical story of a gay Christian young adult life who questioned ‘Why?’ This is a movie that makes people think and to relate. Beautifully made.

Christians seem to be the new boogie man. In days of different moralities, it was jews blacks and so on. In these glorious days we have our guns pointed in the right direction of course. Because this time, we're right. Right?

I was a little unsure on this one when I bought it, but after seeing it, it really is a great film. Keeps you guessing all the way thorugh. Very well done.

This is subtitled in English. Buyer beware that it isn’t prominently displayed as such.
  • Underwhelming

Pretty cinematography but incredibly boring. Wish I’d waited for it to be free on something and turned it off halfway through.

Love yourself, be proud of who you are.
  • A good, thought provoking supernatural tale

    By Kryzbyn
This move at first seems slowly paced...but you soon realize it's an even pace, with things being revealed to both you and Thelma at a steady speed. The themes are subtly amazing, while dancing around what we think is supernatural, and what the reality is in the film. The duality of the parents and Thelma all having to fight their natures was a great underlying theme as well. This was a great film, if you're a fan of this genre.

Loved it. Plays on several levels. Nice little twists. Some are a little preditable, but doesn't detract at all from the story. Watch it. Most will find it well worth their time.
  • Enough already

Tired of insidious alternate lifestyles being presented in movies as an attempt to normalize peoples 'attitudes' toward said alternate lifestyles.
