  • Meh. Sad day for true fans

Star Wars the Last Jedi was a galactic disappointment. Rian Johnson and Disney ran this completely into the ground. It’s just bad storytelling and even worse humor. Johnson lacks scope and perspective with this movie. I gave it two stars because of how beautifully it was filmed. But the story itself was bitter Star Wars non-cohesive garbage. The “new audience” they’re trying to reach today will not be sleeping on sidewalks waiting for tickets sales of future films. Sad day for true fans. The present and future Star Wars glory is with Dave Filoni and his creative genius at Lucasfilm.
  • overstuffed nonsense

This movie has a muddled plot. It also comes off as too derivative while breaking with the original trilogy in disappointing ways. The writers made some mystifying dramatic decisions. For example, why have Luke Skywalker's hologram appear in the final fight scene, instead of Luke flying there himself? Not good.
  • Disney made Star Wars the second Avengers

This one’s garbage. The story is ruined. Force turns down to cheap magic. Th only Lucas’ Star Wars saga is “Star Wars”. Maybe some Jedi will join Avengers soon.
  • Stars Wars: The Last Jetdi

It was ok. I wasn’t really enthused with the movie but I’m a Stars Wars fan from childhood so I’m GONNA WATCH. My family is Stars Wars family, so you know it runs DEEP. I was six when I saw the first Star Wars movie on the silver screen. But these last installment didn’t really pop the corn for me. Once George Lucas took his hands off of directing, it seems to have lost a bit of its wow factor i.e. surprise and wonder. BUT I have to keep the collection there ya go. I love the franchise. Watch it. There are some fantastic moments in here.
  • Why is this not in 4K?

Why is this not in 4K? If I buy the hard copy I get 4K? What gives?
  • Not anymore

You'll may like this movie if you don't know much about Star Wars. Then you may not realize just how many rules of the SW universe were broken, or how many things were introduced but never resolved, or the way the original characters were mistreated.
  • Squarely Belongs Among The Prequel Trilogy

I was so disgusted that I wasted $19 bucks and 2-1/2 hours of my life I will NEVER get back. The only element missing in this dud is Jar Jar. The criminal part of this is Disney squandered an entirely new lease on life after the last movie which revived the wonder of the Star Wars saga. They took a story line charged with pathos and grit, especially the relationship developing between Rey & Finn, only to splat it in the dirt. When will Hollywood learn that extreme special effects will never overcome a weak storyline and direction. I’m also amazed at the ‘professional’ high reviews. This should have gotten no more than 25% in the spaghetti sauce meter. We’re these people even watching the same movie? The introduction of characters was nothing more than giving an excuse to produce toys. The new characters added ZERO to the movie plot or ongoing story. I agree with Luke Skywalker, it really is time to let the Jedi die.
  • Uh the reviews must be from "new" fans.

This has been by far the worst of any SW movie on so many levels that I'm not even going to attempt to write an in depth review, any SW fan will know exactly what I mean with nothing written, except the 2 star rating I gave it, and this small rant.
  • It's a TRAP!

Rian Johnson tried so hard to surprise the audience with twists and wow them with visuals that he sacrificed good story telling, believeable character responses, and a coherent plot. The thing that makes star wars stories amazing is that they are built of the fundamental principles of mythology (see a hero with a thousand faces). Rian Johnson's picked up the first act of the hero's journey, set it on fire, and took a pointless trip to a casino. It is going to be hard for anyone to salvage the mess he left into a decent third movie.
  • Really Bad

Not good. Couldn't get through a 2nd viewing.
