A dramatization of the Montreal Massacre of 1989 where several female engineering students were murdered by an unstable misogynist.
When an ordinary day is overtaken by horror, it remains and ordinary day. The sun keeps shining, the wind continues to blow, but the choices made in the face of horror make every ordinary day afterwards part of the horror. This is a movie that plays with the notion of the ordinary when it is perverted by madness. The madness becomes a kind of infective agent that changes everything and nothing. One of the finest films one the nature of terror and the consequences of such “ordinary” day as I have ever seen.
