Star Butterfly and her best friend Marco Diaz continue their dimension-hopping adventures across the multiverse. Glossaryck and Star journey to the innermost regions of her wand to try and fix it. Star has second thoughts about attending a dead clown séance instead of the big school dance with Marco. And hot off the loss of the Book of Spells, an irrational Star races to save Glossaryck and runs headlong into a new world of danger. With the Book of Spells missing and the evil Ludo waiting in the wings, Star’s quest to fulfill her magical destiny becomes cloudy with a chance of evil!

This third installment is phenomenal. No more pointless ventures or "not too shabby but not the best" humor. The character development and relationships are fantastic and the third episode is easily one of the best so far. This season starts off the ground and is headed waaaay up. 5/5

As someone who grew up watching cartoons (like lost kids) I eventually grew out of them at one point for one reason or another. I saw a lot of buzz about this show online and I figure why not give it a shot. As an adult, I can actually say that this is really good show for all ages, including adults. The show handles the humour, foreshadowing, and characters well. As a kid, I would've loved the animation and entertaining nature of it, but as an adult I still get a lot out of it. Would recommend SvtFoE to anyone who likes a good over-arching plot and cartoons.
