This show is so offensive to people with autism in so many ways and it is really boring, stupid, and corny I would rather watch paw patrol

I really enjoyed this new show that is so differenet from the other medical, hospita typical show. It was new & refreshing to watch. It has insight of people with autism and yet is intriguing, has drama and uniques stories lines with in the story. I bought the whole season and would love to see how far the writers, scripts and actors can take show through the various difficulties and joys of this relationships of Shawn and the hospital staff and patients

Sometimes a TV that makes you feel good is all you need.

The show centers not as much around Dr. Sean Murphy as it does his environment. There is plenty of time spent developing the other characters and sometimes Dr. Murphy is an after-thought to the episode. That is a clever angle to write from. The problem is most of the other characters are shallow and vain and not really interesting. So we endure them until Dr. Murphy appears. When we endure them and Dr. Mutphy appears, sometimes they shut him off as antagonists do but then our patience isn't rewarded. There are clever and wonderful moments in the show and maybe overall it will get better. We watch it 50% for the limited quality moments and 50% in hope it develops. So if you can look past obnoxous characters, limited acting, and bogus plot lines to enjoy some really wonderful moments, try it out.

I understand that some people don’t like the subject of autism in this particular series. I mean no offense or harm to those those people who see this as a side of this show; so I pay my respects, meaning In which I do not judge one’s opinion. However, the people that made this, probably didn’t see it that way. And I don’t blame them. This is something that can actually happen, I find it amazing of someone’s possible extraordinary capabilities!!! I wait so long every week for one episode to come out. It only takes so Long that I can’t stand it, so I start re-watching the series. I love this so much. This series is my favorite show that I have ever watched. Extraordinary, outgoing, and outstanding!!! Hope they keep up with this. If they happen to be viewing this, I just want to let them know to keep up the good work!!! -Krista .H. • Pathetic

Freddy is compelling but, autism aside (I'm glad those familliar with the spectrum can speak to it's accuracy, which I figured was inaccurate), the medical accuracy is laughable, absolutely laughable. For the network to allow such trash that is bad is countless ways is disturbing. This is why everyone turns to cable TV or other non-network shows. The hospital setting is unrealistic; the dialougue is unrealistic; the hierarchies are unrealistic; the set, cosutumes, logistics, blah, blah, blah, are pathetically unrealistic. Did you hire a 12-year old to write the scripts? With some incredible actors, ABC has dropped the ball. Hell, I'd be a consultant for free if you could get it right. (RN for 30 years).
