What if Superman never existed? Set two generations before the destruction of Superman’s home planet, KRYPTON follows Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe), the legendary Man of Steel’s grandfather, who is faced with a life and death conflict – save his home planet or let it be destroyed in order to restore the fate of his future grandson. With Krypton’s leadership in disarray and the House of El ostracized, Seg must balance the quest to redeem his family’s honor and protect the ones he loves while being challenged by familiar DC characters Brainiac (Blake Ritson) and Earthly time-traveler Adam Strange (Shaun Sipos). KRYPTON is from Warner Horizon Scripted Television and is executive produced by David S. Goyer (Man of Steel, The Dark Knight Trilogy) alongside Cameron Welsh. In addition to Cuffe, Sipos and Ritson, the show also stars Georgina Campbell, Elliot Cowan, Ann Ogbomo, Rasmus Hardiker, Wallis Day, Aaron Pierre and Ian McElhinney.

Finally a form of motion media that focuses on Superman’s home planet, Krypton. Personally I would have preferred it to be a movie or the very least a mini-series instead of a full fledge tv series. But I’m not complaining. My biggest and literally only problem with this show is not even the show itself but the network it’s airing on, SyFy. The SyFy network wouldn’t know a good series if they earned $10,000,000,000 an episode. I mean they have had great shows in the past and they were stupid enough to cancel them. However, they did briefly bring back both Warehouse 13 and Eureka to give them proper finales. So I give them credit on that. Krypton is a fantastic tv series with blockbuster special effects. SyFy has a real gem here I hope they treasure it and know how to put it to good use. But just in case DC Entertainment should keep a close eye on them. I love the series and really hope it gets a chance to spread its wings and soar Up, Up and Away!

I just want to give one star to the homophobic commentary and discriminatory regerences that Mr. Alor expressed in his review of Krypton. It is obvious he is traumatized himself and let the world know about it. His review was not helpful at all.
