Gravity Falls, Vol. 1

I love this show. It's fantastic. But I have to ding it a star for the way Disney packaged it. Splitting it into four sets at $20 apiece was brilliant, guys. No, wait… not brilliant. GREEDY. I was so excited to see this set go on sale for $10 that I bought it without hesitating, thinking I was getting the full first season. BZZT! I don't know that I'll ever buy the rest of the show here because I'm so disgusted by their greed.

I love this show but I think 80 is way to much for a whole series and 20 dollars for 10 episodes yea so can u change the price to atleast 10 dollars per season/volume and a will buy the whole series without hesitating

I have never watched a series of shows as amazing as gravity falls. I am lost of words, it was so good. I would give it more than 10 stars if I could!!!! #1 show!!! Remember, reality is an illusion. Fun, weird, and always enjoyable.

On the surface, it seems like brightly colored, typical kids fare; the deeper one gets into the series, the more it becomes apparent that that's far from the case. The titular town is steeped in the paranormal, ranging from gnomes to the insidious Bill Cipher, giving every episode creepy twists and thrills. There's something for the adults watching, as well-- codes, ciphers and top notch foreshadowing are in every episode, which paired with humor and pop culture references to make the experience enjoyable for those above the 8-13 age bracket to which Gravity Falls is marketed. An episode late in the series pokes fun at adults who watch shows geared toward kids, citing "a big mystery element, and a lot of humor that goes over kids' heads!" That quote definitely applies to Gravity Falls-- and viewers of all ages.

This is an amazing series! My favorite, actually. I recommend it to everyone. Too bad it can't be infinitely continued.
