Adam and Jamie try to separate physics from fiction with a special STAR WARS-themed episode. Could Luke really have swung on a rope while holding Princess Leia to escape the Stormtroopers? Could the Ewoks’ primitive weapons really take down Darth Vader? The team also tests exploding stills with the Moonshiners, and investigates mythical ways to avoid traffic jams.

  • Only completely snotty entitled whiners will complain

The show has morphed over the years a bit. Any show that has been on the air and had as many episodes as this one is going to change a bit over time. That being said it remains fun, fascinating and even educational. Those with sticks unfortunately rammed up their butts will complain and attack the show for the alterations made over the past decade. To them just say "watch something else then loser".
  • Mythbuster dollar buster

Well, I agree. At $3 an episode for the iTunes stuff, it seems like iTunes should reimburse some folks. A lot of season 15 is just re-hash of previous episodes. I guess the Discovery channel and iTunes are not paying the Myth crew enough money for original shows, and pocketing most of the money for themselves. Take it down to 99 cents a show, iTunes, like the good ole days, and pay the crew more. You can afford it.
  • Season Terminated??

I had subscribed to Mythbusters Season 14 on iTunes and then last week after receiving eight episodes I got a note from Apple saying: Dear iTunes Customer, Your season pass for MythBusters, Season 15 is now complete. There were fewer episodes in this season than we anticipated at the time of your purchase. As a result, we have issued you a partial refund in the amount of $3.40. These funds will be applied to your original payment method within five business days. Does anyone know what this is all about? Has Mythbusters stopped producing? We love the show.
  • I got one

I think they should try waterskiing up a floating ramp and see if they can jump over a great white shark. I think we all know what will happen, or what has already happened. Balance the equation MythBusters!
  • Still going

I know some people don't like the new season(s), because it's more scripted than it used to be. It's fine with me, cause it's still a one of a kind show! If only physics in high school could have been this fun. Still my fav show, by far

What a shame, this show used to be full of anarchy, laughs and genuine muddling through. Now everything is scripted, no spontaneous mishaps and everything served in bite sized boring segments. Remember when they used to build a personal helicopter, the floatation device, or simply testing poppy seed bagels…Those were the days….

Mythbusters used to be a pretty good show. There were laughs, explosions, and sometimes you would even learn something. It was a great show because it was fun to watch the guys venture into a field they didn’t know much about and make mistakes and have fun while doing it. There was a sense of honesty about it despite the fact that much of it is planned/staged. Since season 13 it has started to go downhill with the most noticeable decrease in quality and entertainment occurring in the 14th and 15th seasons. The focus has shifted from the myths and experiments to the honestly woeful on camera personas that ALL the Mythbusters have adopted (other than possibly Jamie). Seems like they feel that they need to have these fake conversations and all this forced banter for the audience and its seems as though they just don’t enjoy it. Well let me tell you, we don’t enjoy watching it either. This show has such a simple premise its hard to imagine how you could screw it up, but the way you screw it up is by overproducing it and writing dumb lines for people who are not actors by any means. The show is staged, but not in a bad way, we all know you can’t do the things you do spur of the moment and that’s fine. Just make it less phony. People just want to see you guys go off on an adventure and be genuinely interested and excited about what is happening, we don’t want to see you guys try and act. Sorry its just not your thing. Also enough of the two separate teams, do more stuff together.
